About the artwork:
In January 2025, I made the trip to Finnish Lapland (Lappi) and experienced the ‘Polar Night’, where it was dark for almost 24 hours. It was a beautiful and otherworldly landscape where the northern lights danced in the sky. This painting depicts a particularly special night when I stood under the moon and stars. With blue hues and radiating light, I wanted to express the powerfully quiet energy of the land.
