Shipping

  • Complimentary international economy shipping is applied at checkout for most customers.

    If the option isn’t available, please get in touch with me. Due to current restrictions in Finland and the EU, shipping to some countries is unfortunately not possible or will require an additional postal service.

    Express post, insurance, and additional services must be arranged in advance for an extra fee.

  • International import fees, tariffs, and taxes may be applied to your order upon arrival in your destination country. These are the customer’s responsibility and must be paid for to receive the order. Please check your local laws for further information and costs.

    US customers: A specialised per-item fee will be applied at checkout to cover courier services and the additional preparation and documentation required to comply with current import laws.

    If you refuse to pay import fees, the artwork will be sent back to me. Any costs associated with the return will be invoiced or deducted from the refund price.

  • Artworks are dispatched from my studio in Finland within 7 days of purchase. Shipping times vary based on location. For a rough estimate, please feel free to get in touch.

    Once shipped, you will receive an email notification with a tracking number.

    Works on paper are sent either flat-packed or rolled in a tube/box. They are shipped unframed to avoid glass breaking and high shipping costs.

Orders, payments & returns

  • All prices on my website are in EUR €. Due to Squarespace’s in-built payment processor, this may be automatically converted to match your local currency.

    All major payment methods are accepted. Klarna is available at checkout for a buy now, pay later payment plan.

    I am not registered or required to charge VAT / GST.

    Payments are securely processed via Squarespace.

  • All sales of original artworks are final.

    Refunds and exchanges are not accepted for changes of mind or for items purchased as a gift. For special circumstances, a return will only be processed and guaranteed once the artwork is received in its original condition.

    Pre-orders, sale items, and deposits for commissions and payment plans are final and non-refundable.

    Any costs and fees associated with the return or re-shipping of an order will be invoiced or deducted from the refund price.

    If you have any issues or concerns, please email me laurenguymerart@gmail.comwithin 7 days of receiving the artwork.

  • Commissions and payment plans are available on request.

    Klarna is available at checkout in my online shop to arrange an easy buy-now, pay-later plan.

    Alternatively, please get in touch with me to arrange a custom payment plan via pdf invoice. The first instalment of a custom plan acts as a non-refundable deposit.

    For commissions, I require a non-refundable 50% deposit of the total artwork price before I create the artwork.

    Artworks must be paid in full before they are shipped. By paying the deposit or first instalment, you agree to the terms on your invoice.

Materials, framing & care

  • All original artworks are created with the utmost care using professional museum-quality archival materials.

    If you have further questions about a specific artwork, please contact me.

  • Professional framing is required for all unframed works on paper to ensure the artwork's longevity, protection, and value. Please visit a professional framer in your local area.

    Stretched paper paintings, paper paintings on wooden panels, and oils on canvas are varnished and do not require a frame.

    Please display artwork away from direct sunlight, heat, humidity, and smoke. Any damage incurred due to poor framing, display, and handling is not my responsibility.

Copyright, privacy, & agreement to terms

  • All artworks and images are copyright © Lauren Guymer. All rights, including intellectual property, are reserved.

    No artwork or image can be reproduced or distributed, including those seen in exhibitions, public displays, or online.

    Purchasing an artwork does not transfer the copyright ownership.

  • Every artwork, image, and written text on this site is entirely original and created solely by my own hands without the assistance or use of Generative AI technologies.

    I strictly prohibit any automated crawling, data scraping, or reproduction of my images or text for the purpose of training machine learning algorithms or generative artificial intelligence (AI) models. All intellectual property rights are reserved.

  • By submitting your contact information on my website and/or mailing list, you agree to have it securely stored via Squarespace.

    I use this information for communication, shipping labels, invoices/receipts, and, if selected, my newsletter database.
